Mark your calenders for the 28th or so Annual "Bear Bogey Golf Tournament and Dinner" at Sequia Woods CC. The 2008 event was a lot of fun with the new 18-hole Swedish Best Ball Scramble and members who missed out are already planning for 2009. What, you ask, is a Swedish scramble? Click here to find out.
When: Saturday, Aug. 22 at 1:00 p.m. (check in at 12:30). Where: Sequoia Woods Country Club, Arnold. Who: Bear Valley Ski Club members and their friends. Costs to golfers vary depending on memberships and will be set in the spring. Dinner: At the Club at 6:15 p.m. No host cocktails at 5:30. Tri-tip and fancy chicken breast buffet with wine on the table. Format: 18-hole Swedish Best Ball Scramble
Spouses will be in different foursomes - we will do our best to have balanced teams, so tell your friends and family to come and make a special day of it. Non-golfers can join us for dinner. If you or your friends do not have an established 9 or 18 hole handicap (GHIN #), we will assign you one based on how well you tell us you play. We’ll give you a call.
