Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday August 21
Mark your calendars for the 29th or so Annual "Bear Bogey Golf Tournament and Dinner" at Sequoia Woods CC. The 2010 event will be a lot of fun with a somewhat different 18-hole Best Ball Scramble than last year so we can accommodate threesomes if necessary.
When: Saturday, Aug. 21 at 1:00 p.m. (check in at 12:30).
Where: Sequoia Woods Country Club, Arnold.
Who: Bear Valley Ski Club members and their friends.
Costs to golfers vary depending on membership.
Dinner: At the Club at 6:15 p.m. No host cocktails at 5:30. Tri-tip and fancy chicken breast buffet with wine on the table.
Format: 18-hole Best Ball Scramble

Spouses will be in different foursomes - we will do our best to have balanced teams, so tell your friends and family to come and make a special day of it. Non-golfers can join us for dinner. If you or your friends do not have an established 9 or 18 hole handicap (GHIN #), we will assign you one based on how well you tell us you play. We’ll give you a call.

Annual Ski Sale on Saturday September 25, 2010
Information on the 2010 ski sale coming soon!
The following is last year's information which will be updated soon.
Planning for the 2009 ski sale is well under way. Ten vendors have been invited and two have already responded “yes.” We have secured the same location as last year, the Meadowmont Shopping Center, which has great access and visibility from Highway 4. Mark the date on your calendar. I need volunteers to help out, both setting up before the event and cleaning up after the vendors leave. Specifically, I need a creative person to handle the design and set up of a “dressing room” for trying on clothing. We have the PVC and tarps. Please email me if you would like to help at whd2923@goldrush.com This event is our big fundraiser for the year, so it needs to be successful to restock our treasury. We all benefit, as well as the activities we support.
